Getting started with your South Plains Council leadership domain services account:

Welcome to the southplainscouncil.org leadership domain services.

This page and other pages that are being added as time goes on should help you get going with the online Council services that are available to you as a Scouting leader. These are designed to help you do a better job of delivering quality program to the youth involved with your unit.

The services and tools listed here are intended to be of use to those involved in council, district and unit committees and other leadership positions, as well as the council professional and Scout service center staff, by providing them with features designed to help fulfill the responsibilities of these positions.

You can get started right away by selecting one or more of the links to the right or left. To get started immediately, pick a function to the right and log in using your Council user name and access password given to you by the Council domain services coordinator*.

If you prefer to explore a bit more first, read through the information in the links on the left side of this page, and learn more there or by following the help links within the pages for each of the services mentioned here.

The list of services available through your Council account has recently been expanded to cover almost all services available from Google, including Picasa photo albums, Blogger, Google Maps, etc. If you have any questions about what you can do with your Council-based Google account, please contact us or check out the links above. The main web site for the Council, of course, is http://www.southplainscouncil.org.

* (Hint for your first logon: your user name is not case sensitive and will usually be of the form "firstname.lastname" while your password is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as given. If you have trouble logging in, see our help page. The temporary password that was issued to you is only good for initial use -- you will pick your own long-term password upon logging in. Pick a good, strong password that you can remember.)
